Shelly,

I am Sherry's friend and fishing client from Dallas. I fished with Sherry many times on Lake Fork; several times my son joined us. We caught lots of bass and have wonderful memories. I remember the first time meeting Sherry one morning early for breakfast before our fishing trip. She told us stories about giant bass, within two hours I broke off 30 lb test line on a monster bass. She was a great person and a fisher woman. I think of her often and miss her and proud to have known her in my life.

Shelly, we wanted to express our sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your mother. We own "The Fisherman's Guide News" on Lake Fork and your mother was a past feature writer for us. She and Bill were our neighbors for a short while. We just wanted you to know that we put her picture in our November issue.
Sincerely,
Don & Sue Hampton

Shelly,

I know these Holidays will be tough, but I also know your Mom is right beside you every minute and she is answering you everytime you speak. Just like your Mom used to tell me when I would say I sure wish I could hear God when he speaks to me and Sherry would tell me, "you are just not listening, he speaks and we try so hard to hear that we do not hear Him speak". Just listen she is talking to you and at Thanksgiving she will be seated at the head of the table just like every other year. Set her a place she will love it.

My thoughts and prayers will be with you all through the Holidays and my prayers are with you and Devon, they he and you both get to feeling better so as the harmony in your house comes again.
